Alexa Kastellanos is an accomplished Professional Ballet Dancer, International Model, and certified Yoga and Barre instructor now based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. With a career that has taken her around the world, Alexa’s exceptional talent and unwavering dedication have garnered recognition in both the dance and fashion industries.

Discovered at the age of 11 by the National Ballet School of Canada, Alexa moved from her hometown of Winnipeg to Toronto to pursue her passion for dance. During her time at the National Ballet School, she performed professionally with the National Ballet of Canada and was selected for the lead role of Marie in The Nutcracker at the Hummingbird Centre—becoming one of the youngest dancers to achieve this distinction. After four successful years, Alexa returned to Winnipeg to continue her training with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, where she took on lead roles in performances such as Ballet in the Park and The Concert Hall. Additionally, she choreographed the duet Preference for the First Steps showcase.

At 18, Alexa moved to New York on a scholarship to study at The Joffrey Ballet School. While in New York, she performed lead roles with the Joffrey Ballet and was selected to dance with the prestigious Gelsey Kirkland Studio Company. She also contributed to the Broadway Dance Center by assisting in teaching, all while performing throughout New York City. Her career further expanded as she performed in Moscow with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and in Florence, Italy, with the Scuola di Danza Hamlyn.

In addition to her ballet career, Alexa began her modeling journey after being discovered by leading agencies in New York. She competed for the cover of Maxim Magazine, earning second place in the public vote. Alexa has since walked the runway for renowned designers such as Anisha Kumar at Toronto Fashion Week, Aimon Ali, and Arte De La Mode lingerie, as well as opening New York Swim Week for Ujena Swimwear. Her commercial work includes partnerships with top brands such as ShopSeina, Rebel Athletic, Rockstar Swimwear, and Zaful. She has also been featured in prestigious global publications like WedLuxe Wedding Magazine and Edith Magazine.

Throughout her career, Alexa has appeared in over 40 Punjabi and Bollywood music videos with prominent artists such as Gurj Sidhu, Rahul Sathu, Money Aujla, and Gagan Kokri. Her photographic work has been showcased in international exhibitions, including in Switzerland, Japan, and Italy, with her images displayed at notable venues such as the Eurostars Hotel Excelsior in Naples and the Champs-Élysées Plaza Hotel in Paris.

Alexa is also the face of the Mayfa cosmetic line and BAO Laboratory skincare and serves as a corporate spokesperson for Multi Pro Machines. She was featured in an international commercial for Destination Toronto alongside actor Simu Liu.

In addition to her work as a model and performer, Alexa is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through her role as a certified yoga and barre instructor. She shares her passion for movement and mindfulness with others, inspiring them to cultivate balance, strength, and well-being in their lives.
